Yves Simoneau

Yves Simoneau serves as the Vice-President of Operations at Semican since October 2021. Previously, Yves held the position of Director of Customer Experience at Citadelle, coopérative de producteurs de sirop d'érable, where responsibilities included overseeing production planning, customer service, product development, logistics, and transportation. Yves's extensive experience at Cascades spanned over two decades, during which significant roles included Director of Major Projects, where management of a multidisciplinary team led to the installation of nine new conversion lines with a budget of $110 million, Director of Plant Operations, and Director of Production, focusing on process improvements and a shift in quality culture. Yves began a career at Cascades as a Supervisor in Maintenance and Projects and progressed through various production-related roles. Yves holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke.
