Andy Hoag

Andy Hoag has over 12 years of professional experience in software engineering, software development, and product management. Andy began their career in 2007 as a Co-op Software Developer at Polaris Library Systems. In 2008, they joined Saab Sensis Corporation as a Co-op Software Engineer, Air Traffic Systems, where they worked on projects such as the Qt-based situational display of aircraft in surface-movement system and the architecture of OpenStack-based private cloud for use in a form of DevOps. Andy was later promoted to Software Engineer, Air Traffic Systems, where they worked on the EUROCAE ED-129 compliant ADS-B system, A-SMGCS, SMR controller and signal processor, and other primary radar data and signal processors.

In 2015, Andy Hoag joined Aireon LLC as Senior Director, Integrated Products, where they built space-based real-time aviation data applications in the cloud and managed SaaS and DaaS B2B. Andy was later promoted to Director, Integrated Products, Director of Service Test and Software Engineering, and Software Engineering Manager. In 2018, they co-founded Semicyber.

Andy Hoag graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
