Klaus Strohmayer

Klaus Strohmayer is a digital design professional with more than 20 years of experience in ASIC and FPGA design. They are currently a Digital Design and Verification Consultant (self-employed since 2020) and the founder of semify GmbH (since 2021), focusing on digital design and verification, FPGA prototyping, and Python-based verification tooling to increase debugging productivity. They previously led the digital design team in Graz at Dialog Semiconductor as Group Manager (2014–2015) and served as Digital Design Manager for NFC products at NXP Semiconductors Austria (2015–2017). Earlier in their career they worked as a Digital Design Engineer at Infineon Technologies (1999–2007), as Digital Design professional at USound GmbH (2017–2020), and as hardware and software developer at EVK (1996–1999), and earned a DI in Elektrotechnik from Technische Universität Graz (1990–1999) with teaching roles at FH Joanneum.
