David Doan

David Doan, PhD has a strong background in research and development in the LED industry. David has held various roles, including Director of Research and Development at SemiLEDs, Senior Manager of Research and Development at Semileds Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., and Director of Research and Development at China SemiLEDs. In these positions, they have focused on the development of LED technologies for a wide range of applications, including printing and UV sterilization. David has also been involved in project management, risk assessment, and product development. Additionally, they have experience in managing integration teams to solve issues with production processes and ensure high yield and process control.

David Doan received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering from The University of Electro-Communications during the period of 2014-2016.
