Dan Pinto has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dan started their career in 2006 as a Presales Consultant at Soporte y Capacitación, where they analyzed clients' IT infrastructure and created consolidation proposals. In 2006, they also became the Regional Manager at the same company, founding a branch and developing sales and technical teams.
In 2014, Dan co-founded the Vancouver Food Pedalers Cooperative, where they restructured the business and implemented standard processes. Dan also developed a greenhouse using a shipping container for year-round micro-greens production.
From 2016 to 2017, Dan worked as the Lead Mobile Developer at littlefleets, where they established a stack and strategy for mobile development and recoded the main application.
In 2017, they started their own web and app development company called VanMobile Consulting Ltd, where they provided custom solutions using React-Native and Ruby on Rails.
Most recently, Dan worked as a React Native Mobile Developer at Semios from 2018 onwards.
Dan Pinto's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they completed from 2000 to 2005. From 2012 to 2015, Dan attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where they obtained a two-year diploma in Horticulture: Greenhouse & Production. Most recently, they enrolled in CodeCore College in 2016, pursuing a Code Core Bootcamp in Web Development.
