Ed Quilty, ICD.D, is an experienced leader in environmental sustainability and water management. Currently serving as Board Chair and Director at Cascadia Seaweed, Ed advocates for the role of seaweed in sustainable food sourcing and climate change mitigation. Ed holds director positions at Semios Technologies and The Kidney Foundation of Canada, focusing on pesticides, water quality, and chronic kidney disease. Additionally, Ed is the Interim CEO at MOBILTEX CorTalk, addressing utility asset monitoring to prevent environmental leaks. Founding Aquatic Informatics and QA Environmental, Ed has contributed significantly to water quality monitoring. Ed's earlier career included work as an Aquatic Ecologist with the British Columbia Ministry of Environment. Educational credentials include programs at the Institute of Corporate Directors, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The University of British Columbia, and the University of Victoria.
