Ingrid Chaves has extensive work experience in sales and business development. Ingrid worked at Semperit AG from 2013 to 2018, starting as a Sales Trainee in South America and later progressing to roles such as Area Sales Manager for Latin America and Head of Sales for EMEA and LATAM. In these positions, they were responsible for strategic business development, forecasting, and cooperation with regulations for surgical and examination gloves in various markets. Ingrid also managed key accounts and implemented sales strategies. Prior to Semperit AG, Ingrid co-owned and served as General Manager at Perfiles de Acero Centroamericanos, a family business that sold imported steel materials in Costa Rica. Ingrid also worked as an Administrative Manager at MECASA.
Ingrid Chaves completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance from Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica in the years 1999 to 2001. Later on, they pursued a Licenciate Degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance from the same university, which they completed in the years 2001 to 2002. Ingrid furthered their education by obtaining an MBA in International Business with a focus on Finance and Strategy from Hochschule Furtwangen in the years 2010 to 2011.
