Hidde Heier

Hidde Heier is an experienced professional specializing in energy transition, currently serving as an Energy Transition Specialist at SemperPower since January 2024, focusing on accelerating the energy transition. Previously, Hidde worked as a Sustainability Team Intern at Eneco from February to July 2023, where responsibilities included implementing an LCA-based calculation method to measure emissions related to purchased capital goods. Hidde's background also includes a role as a Student Consultant at Citys Student Consultancy Groningen and serving as Chairman of the Groninger Studenten Hockey Club (G.S.H.C Forward) from July 2021 to August 2022. Hidde holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Groningen and a semester from Stellenbosch University. Currently, Hidde is pursuing a Master's degree in Global Business & Sustainability at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, expected to conclude in June 2025.
