Derek Sidebottom is an experienced CHRO and board advisor with deep expertise in scaling, M&A, and organizational transformation across venture-backed and public enterprises. They have held prominent HR leadership roles at companies such as Electronic Arts, Rocket Fuel Inc., and LendingHome, where they achieved significant talent acquisition and organizational growth. Currently, Derek serves as an HR Venture Advisor at SemperVirens Venture Capital and is the CEO of MyParent Cafe, a digital community focused on enhancing parental support. Their educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and ongoing studies toward a Master’s in Executive MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources.
