Laura Dannels, PhD, MBA, SHRM-SCP, is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at UCSF. With nearly two decades of experience, they have led workforce and culture strategy in complex organizations, working closely with executives to align talent strategy with business goals. Laura has served as an adjunct professor at Columbia University and has been recognized for their contributions to workforce transformation by organizations such as Forbes and the Obama Administration. Previously, they held leadership roles at alliantgroup, Wellstar Health System, Kaiser Permanente, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company, among others. Laura earned a PhD in Change and Transformation from Pepperdine University.
