George Boitano

George Boitano is the founder and owner of SEMplicity, Inc., established in 2011, which partners with Elastic to provide services in event detection, identity management, log management, application security, and data protection for large enterprises. With experience as Director of Security Services at Novacoast and previous roles as a network security advisor at Dell Services, a freelance software designer and developer, and a product author at Rocket Software, Inc., George has developed a strong background in security software and systems. Co-founding Security Integration in 1990, George served as Owner, CTO, and CEO, focusing on mainframe software for authentication and access control. Early career roles include MVS and CICS systems programming at Boston University and applications programming at Colony Communications. George holds a B.A. in Physics from Harvard University.
