Uliana B. has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. After completing their education, they began their professional career as a Laboratory Research Assistant at the Russian State University of Physical Training, Sport and Tourism. In this role, they coordinated laboratory activities, conducted experimental work, and analyzed data using tools like R and PowerPoint.

Following their time at the university, Uliana joined EY as a Data Engineer. Here, they utilized Python and Alteryx Designer to design and implement automated data cleaning and recombining processes. Uliana also managed large datasets from MSSQL and provided training to non-IT colleagues on using merging tools effectively.

Next, Uliana transitioned to a role at Indivd as a CV Machine Learning Engineer. Here, they leveraged their skills in torchreid, Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, and Seaborn to explore data related to person re-identification. Uliana contributed to the project by identifying issues in the data and models and added new models to production using GitLab. Uliana also played a role in testing functionality with Postman and creating documentation for team members.

Uliana contributed to various projects, including a telemedicine project where they analyzed complex data using cloud technologies and databases. Uliana brought a diverse skill set to this role, including proficiency in tools like Bash, SQL, Python, and Yandex Cloud.

Currently, Uliana is employed as a Data Scientist at Semrush, where they started in 2023.

Uliana B. started their education in 2008 at the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, where they pursued a Specialist degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture. Uliana completed this program in 2014.
