Aamir Gulistan

Aamir Gulistan, PhD, is a Senior Staff Application Engineer at Semtech, where responsibilities include supporting the Signal Integrity product line and contributing to New Product Introduction for laser drivers and transimpedance amplifiers in data center applications. Previously, Aamir served as a Sensor Development Engineer at Fotech Group, focusing on the development of optical fiber sensors for industrial uses, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simula Research Laboratory, researching vulnerability and security issues in optical networks. Aamir's academic foundation includes a PhD in Photonics from City, University of London, complemented by a Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity and a Master's in Telecommunication and Computer Networks from NUST, further supported by a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from CASE, Islamabad. Aamir has also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Visiting Hourly Paid Lecturer at City, University of London.
