Atila Ucar

Atila Ucar is a highly experienced Senior Characterization Engineer at Semtech since May 2018, with a strong background in design validation and testing from previous roles at Broadcom. At Broadcom, Ucar served as a Design Validation and Test Engineer from June 2011 to March 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing the physical design validation of 10G-BaseT Ethernet designs and managing design validation testing throughout the product life cycle. Ucar's early career involved an internship focused on setup and configuration of test equipment for device verification, along with post-silicon testing of high-speed SERDES and mixed-signal ASICs. Ucar holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UC Irvine, a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rice University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gebze Technical University.
