Chad Erven

Chad Erven is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in digital ASIC design and systems engineering. Currently serving as Director of Systems Engineering at Semtech since November 2017, Chad also held the position of Senior Manager. Prior to this role, Chad spent over a decade at Semtech Corporation – Gennum Products as a Principal ASIC Design Engineer, where responsibilities included leading new design deliveries and collaborating with various engineering teams. Earlier experience includes an engineering internship at Gennum, focusing on design verification methodologies. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, earned in 2007.
