Charlie Casey

Charlie Casey has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Charlie is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Semtech since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Test and Applications Engineering at iDEAL Semiconductor from August 2019 to August 2022. From October 2015 to August 2019, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Design Manager. Before that, they held the position of Sr. Design Director at Semtech from May 2012 to September 2015. Charlie also worked as a Design Director at Micrel from December 2009 to May 2012, and as a PMTS/Design Center Manager at Maxim Integrated Products from March 2005 to December 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Design Engineer at both ON Semiconductor and Cherry Semiconductor. Charlie began their professional journey as a Co-op at Virginia Power from 1996 to 1998.

Charlie Casey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Charlie then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island from 1999 to 2006.
