Sr. Principal Engineer at Semtech

Daniel Kucharski has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Daniel worked at Semtech as a Sr. Principal Engineer starting in March 2011. Before that, they worked at Luxtera as a Principal Engineer from July 2005 to March 2011, where they were responsible for analog and high-speed design. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at Cornell University from June 2000 to July 2005, where they developed low-voltage circuit topologies and implemented them in various SiGe BiCMOS telecom circuits. Daniel also worked as a Research Co-op at IBM Research from May 2001 to September 2004, designing VCSEL driver arrays for a high-speed data link. Their earliest role was as a Design Engineer at IBM Microelectronics from June 1998 to May 2000.

Daniel Kucharski completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1998. Daniel then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont in 1999, and later joined Cornell University from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained both their M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering.
