Deepak Gidwani

Deepak Gidwani, P.Eng, PMP, is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in applications engineering and ASIC validation. Currently serving as Senior Manager, Applications Engineering at Semtech since September 2024, Gidwani previously held the position of Sr. Staff Applications Engineer at Alphawave Semi, focusing on customer technical support and pre-silicon testing. With a strong background at Semtech spanning nearly a decade, key roles included Sr. Staff Field Applications Engineer and ASIC Validation Lead, where Gidwani developed test plans for high-speed ASICs across various applications, automated hardware testing, and optimized validation systems. Gidwani's experience is further enriched by positions in LabVIEW consulting and early engineering roles, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Management from McMaster University.
