Laura Islas

Laura Islas is a software engineer at Semtech since July 2022, with prior experience as a TPM engineer at Continental from April 2020 to July 2022, and as a maintenance engineer at Nissan Motor Manufacturing Ltd. from August 2011 to April 2020. In the maintenance role, Laura managed predictive maintenance, focusing on mechanical vibration analysis, ultrasound, and thermography, having achieved Level I analyst certification in ultrasound from ITC. Laura holds a Master's degree in Embedded Systems from INFOTEC Centro de Investigación e Innovación en Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (2018-2020) and an Engineer's degree in Electronic Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Aguascalientes (2006-2010).
