Mohsen Moussavi

Mohsen Moussavi has over 25 years of work experience in the field of Analog Design Engineering. Mohsen is currently working as the Senior Principal Analog Designer at Semtech Corporation - Gennum Products since December 2015. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Principal Analog Design Engineer at Semtech Corporation - Gennum Products from March 2012 to December 2015 and from March 2009 to March 2012. Before joining Semtech, they held the position of Senior Member of Technical Staff at Altera Corporation from November 2006 to December 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Designer at PMC-Sierra from 2003 to 2006 and as a Senior Design Engineer at Ciena Corp / Catena Networks from 1999 to 2003. Mohsen also worked at Nortel as a Senior Member of Scientific Staff from 1996 to 1999 and at Bell-Northern Research as a Member of Scientific Staff from 1993 to 1996.

Mohsen Moussavi obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed an M.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 1990 to 1992. Their education began with a License (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shiraz University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1987.
