Nicolas Damour

Nicolas Damour has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies in the technology industry. Nicolas is currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Semtech since 2023. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at Sierra Wireless, including Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, Director of Technology Partnership Development, and Senior Manager of Business & Innovation. In these roles, they were responsible for establishing collaborations and partnerships with stakeholders in the IoT ecosystem and representing the company's interests in standardization bodies and industry fora.

Furthermore, Damour has also served in leadership positions at GSMA, OMA SpecWorks, ESMIG, and oneM2M, where they contributed to the development and promotion of IoT technologies. Nicolas has also worked as a business development and presales consultant at Expandium and held software engineering roles at Kapsch ConnexPlus, Kapsch CarrierCom, and Sybase Austria.

Nicolas Damour completed their Master's degree in Innovation Management from the Toulouse School of Management in 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Telecom Bretagne from 1997 to 2000. Nicolas began their academic journey by studying Mathematics and Physics at Lycée Louis-le-Grand from 1994 to 1997.
