Paul Beard

Paul Beard has extensive experience in the field of electronic design automation (EDA) and computer-aided design (CAD), currently serving as Senior Manager EDA at Semtech Corporation since October 2011. Previously, Paul held managerial positions at Sidense, AMCC, and Philips Semiconductors Nijmegen, where responsibilities included overseeing CAD operations and IT support. Starting as CAD manager at MUSIC Semiconductors and having worked in various roles at Ferranti Electronics, Paul has built a solid foundation in CAD support and layout design over a career spanning more than four decades. Paul holds a BSc in Applied Biology from Nottingham Trent University, completed between 1977 and 1981.
