Pete Walsh

Pete Walsh is the Senior NPI Applications Engineering Manager at Semtech, where they manage a team focused on optical new product application reference design kits and customer training. Pete previously worked at Semtech Corporation – Gennum Products as a Senior Application Engineer, supporting optical transceiver chips and handling FPGA verification. Before that, they spent 26 years at Hewlett-Packard as an ASIC engineer, specializing in digital ASIC design for tape storage products. Pete holds an MSc in Communications Engineering from Bristol University and a BSc (Hons 1st) in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the University of Manchester - Institute of Science and Technology.
