Rémi Demerlé has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Rémi started their career as a Consultant at SoluCom in 1997, where they worked until 1999. From 1999 to 2003, Rémi worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Principal Consultant, managing sales of IT projects for French car makers.
In 2003, they joined Renesas as an Account Manager, and later became the Account Manager for Automotive, overseeing relationships with car makers and managing sales of microcontrollers. Rémi stayed with Renesas until 2006, during which they also worked as a Business Development Manager at SANMINA-SCI, focusing on new account development in the automotive market and acting as an Account Manager for THALES Group.
Rémi then moved on to Sierra Wireless in 2007, taking on the role of Business Development Manager. Rémi'sresponsibilities included exploring business prospects in M2M and telematics, with a focus on smart wireless applications and various technologies.
From 2009 to 2016, Rémi worked as a self-entrepreneur and consultant at OBVIAM, providing their expertise to clients. During the same period, they also held multiple roles at Telenor Connexion AB, including Global Business Development Executive, EMEA Sales Manager, and Global Partnerships Director, where they played a key role in establishing partnerships and driving sales in the global market.
In 2016, Rémi joined Semtech as a Business Development Director, where they focused on global and vertical markets that could benefit from LPWAN technologies. Rémi assisted enterprise customers in their digital transformation journey with IoT, helping them achieve a quick return on investment through practical use cases. Rémi then progressed to become the Marketing Director for Smart Utilities, and currently holds the position of Alliance Partnerships and Marketing Director for the LoRa ecosystem.
Additionally, Rémi became a Board Member of the DLMS User Association in 2020, further showcasing their involvement and dedication to the industry.
Rémi Demerlé completed a program in leadership communication with impact at INSEAD in 2021. Previously, from 1993 to 1996, they earned an engineering degree in IT Systems and Electronics from Grenoble INP - UGA.
