Richard Johnson

Richard Johnson is an accomplished leader in network engineering with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Network Engineering SWA R&D-PMO CB Management at Semtech since August 2022, Richard also provides strategic advice as an advisor at AdvisoryCloud. Previously, Richard held the position of VP Technical Operations at Aeris Communications, where responsibilities included overseeing networks and wireless core infrastructure for IOT. Prior roles include Project Manager at Northrop Grumman Corporation, Executive Director at T-Mobile USA, and Senior Manager Network Engineer at Omnipoint Corp Inc. Richard's career began as a Consulting Engineer at Bellcore, providing expert consultation to government agencies and regional telecommunications companies. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Telecommunication and Computing Management from New York University and an MSC in Technological Management from New York Institute of Technology.
