Rick Hansen

Rick Hansen has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and technology sectors, currently serving as the Senior Director of Marketing for Protection Products at Semtech since April 2003. Prior roles include Director of Program Management at Vitesse S from 2000 to 2002, Sales Executive and Co-Founder at Platinum Associates from 1995 to 2000, and Technical Marketing Manager at Vitesse Semiconductor from 1990 to 1995. Earlier in his career, Rick Hansen worked as an ASIC Specialist at National Semiconductor from 1987 to 1990 and as Design Center Manager at Fairchild Semiconductor from 1985 to 1990. Rick Hansen's education includes studies at Iowa State University from 1977 to 1979 and a degree from Augustana University (SD) from 1973 to 1977.
