Soumitra Biswas

Soumitra Biswas is a Senior Staff Product Engineer at Semtech since February 2016, specializing in signal integrity products for datacom, telecom, and optical networking applications, including the characterization and guarantee of high-speed components and compliance conformance. Previous experience includes a role as a Sr Product Development Engineer at AMD from May 2005 to November 2011, where Soumitra developed ASIC plans and characterized GPUs for performance metrics, and as a Product Engineer at Texas Instruments from January 1998 to August 2001, focusing on yield analysis and product evaluation for analog mixed-signal products. Soumitra earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
