Timothy Vang

Timothy Vang has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Timothy most recently served as the Vice President of Marketing and Applications at Semtech, a position they held since April 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director of Datacom Marketing at Semtech from June 2012 to April 2018. Before joining Semtech, they were the Principal Product Line Manager at Gennum Corporation from January 2007 to June 2012. Timothy also served as the Executive Vice President at Archcom Technology from February 2004 to December 2006. As the Founder and CTO of VSK Photonics, Timothy played a crucial role in the company's establishment and growth from November 2000 to February 2004. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Section Head at TRW from June 1997 to October 2000. Timothy began their professional journey at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA), where they worked as a MTS from January 1994 to June 1997. Before that, they served as a Consultant at AT&T Bell Laboratories from July 1988 to December 1993. Timothy's expertise and experience in marketing, product management, and senior leadership roles make him a valuable asset in the field of technology.

Timothy Vang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bradford, where they studied from 1988 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completing their studies from 1986 to 1988. Before their engineering studies, they pursued a B.S. in Physics at the University of Minnesota from 1982 to 1985.
