Tobias Link has a strong background in ASIC validation and characterization. Tobias began their career as a Field Service Tech at IBM Canada in 1997. Tobias then worked at Gennum Corporation as a Manufacturing Test Engineer from 1999 to 2007, and later transitioned to the role of ASIC Characterization Engineer from 2007 to 2012. Tobias joined Semtech Corporation in 2012 as a Senior ASIC Validation Engineer, and was promoted to Principal ASIC Validation Engineer in 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Principal ASIC Applications Engineer at Semtech since 2021.
Tobias Link completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Communications at McMaster University from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued a Diploma in Technology specializing in Electronics at Mohawk College from 1995 to 1998.
