Brian Jackson has been employed in various positions since 1997. Brian began their career as an Assistant Tennis Pro at the Baywood Racquet Club, followed by an Assistant Men's & Women's Tennis Coach at East Carolina University. In 2000, they took on the role of Visiting Tennis Pro at Wintergreen Resort. Two years later, they began teaching at American University as an Adjunct Instructor. In 2004, they began their long-term employment at Pacific University, where they served in various roles, including Interim Men's Tennis Coach, Sport Leadership & Management (SLAM) Coordinator, Associate Professor of Kinesiology, Head Mens Tennis Coach, Director of Tennis, Department Chair of Exercise Science, and Associate Professor of Exercise Science. In 2021, they joined Senaptec as a Product Director/Consultant, and in 2020, they began serving as Co-Host of the Brothers in Tech Podcast at The MESH.
Brian Jackson completed their education history with a PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Virginia in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an MAEd in Exercise & Sport Sciences from East Carolina University in 1999. Brian's educational journey began in 1993 when they obtained a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Additionally, they have a certification from the United States Professional Tennis Association as a USPTA Professional.
