We are a Parent Carer Forum, formally established in 2022. We are a warm and welcoming group of parents and carers of children and young people with SEND in Haringey.

All local authorities in England are required to have a Parent Carer Forum (Children and Families Act 2014). SEND Power is the recognised forum for Haringey.

We aim to represent all the diverse communities of Haringey, as well as the full range of Special Educational Needs and/or Disability (SEND). We gather parents’ and carers views, and represent these to Haringey Council and the NHS to help improve services for all of our children and young people, from babies up to 25 years old.

We are an independent group, currently hosted by the Bridge Renewal Trust.

We are members of the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF).
