John Ames

John Ames, PhD, is currently the North Regional Director at Send Relief and serves as a pastor at First Baptist Church of Norwood. With a strong background in ministry and leadership, they have held various roles, including Church Planter/Lead Pastor at Faith Community Church and Young Adults Pastor/Administrative Director at Antioch Community Church. John earned a PhD in Missiology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is pursuing advanced degrees in Divinity and Theology. Additionally, they founded Real Steps, INC., an organization dedicated to community outreach.
