Greg Schlottmann has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Greg is currently a Principal Software Engineer at SendCutSend.com. Prior to this, they were a Principal Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation from 2017 to 2021. From 2017 to 2021, they were also an Independent Contractor. From 2014 to 2017, they were Co-founder and CTO at Root-2, where they specialized in realtime web and mobile applications centered around fitness and the sport of Fitness. Additionally, they were a Senior Engineer at ustyme from 2014 to 2017, where they specialized in HTML5, NodeJS, MongoDB, WebRTC, and Web Sockets. From 1997 to 2014, they were Manager of Graphics Engine and Tools Development, Staff Engineer, and Firmware Engineer at IGT, where they wrote and maintained the 3D graphics engine, sound system, and animation system and associated drivers for IGT's AVP platform.
Greg Schlottmann attended the Naval Nuclear Power School from 1989 to 1995, studying Nuclear Engineering. Greg then attended the Oregon Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1997, where they earned an EET in Electrical Engineering with a heavy emphasis on math and computer science. In November 2011, they obtained a Crossfit Level 1 certification.
