Nils Hammar

Nils Hammar is a seasoned entrepreneur and board member with extensive experience in founding and leading companies in diverse sectors. Co-founder and board member of Saltside Technologies since August 2011, Nils has played a significant role in establishing the largest online marketplaces in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, overseeing a profitable operation with around 300 employees. As a board member of Sendify since April 2019, Nils contributes to a web-based shipping service designed to optimize supply chains for small businesses. Nils also serves on the board of Ullersunds Fisknät, the largest supplier of fishing equipment to professional fishermen in Sweden, since June 2020. Previous experience includes developing energy services at Göteborg Energi and co-founding Kindo, later acquired by MyHeritage, where Nils held the position of Director of Marketing and Business Development. Early career experience at Skype provided a foundation in marketing, business development, and product management. Nils holds a Master of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing, from the Stockholm School of Economics, complemented by studies at Ecole de Management in Lyon, France.
