Conrad Bender

Conrad Bender is an experienced professional in production and design, currently serving as VP of Meeting Production at SendingCell since March 2025, following a notable tenure at MC3. As Co-Founder and Artisan at Sawdust Siren, Conrad specializes in creating unique handcrafted items from salvaged materials. A seasoned set and lighting designer, Conrad has worked with various Philadelphia dance and theater artists since 1988. Key roles include Technical Director and Executive Technical Director for the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival & Philly Fringe from 1997 to 2011, Project Manager at Declan Weir Productions, and earlier positions within the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority and various arts organizations. Conrad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Linguistics from Swarthmore College and has pursued language studies at both the Taipei Language Institute and Deep Springs College.
