Marcel P.

Marcel P. has a strong background in software engineering with experience in various industries. Marcel is currently working at Sendoso as a Senior Software Engineer since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Agilent Technologies from 2016 to 2021, where they were responsible for full stack development of instrument control software and code modernization. Marcel also has experience in low-level code, hardware integration, API design, and instrument control.

Before Agilent Technologies, Marcel worked at Dako from 2010 to 2016 as a Bioinformatics Specialist. In this role, they developed a bidirectional connectivity platform and implemented new tools and features for laboratory platforms. Marcel was also responsible for the technical implementation and support of laboratory workflow and connectivity platforms for European customers.

Earlier in their career, Marcel worked at Esblada Medical Solutions from 2007 to 2010 as a Software Engineer. Marcel developed a voice recorder/player and a back-end connectivity platform for exchanging real-time patient-case data. Marcel also designed and created server images for LIS Linux and Windows with pre-installed software.

Additionally, Marcel had a trainee student role at Esblada Medical Solutions in 2007.

Marcel P. pursued their education at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. From 2004 to 2007, they studied Information Technology with a focus on Engineering Technologies and Engineering-Related Fields. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Marcel furthered their education in Information Technology at the same institution.
