Founded in 1999, Seneca Partners is a leading independent sponsor located in metro Detroit that specializes in lower-middle market opportunities. Seneca works closely with family offices, high net worth investors, and institutional capital partners to invest in profitable businesses based in the U.S. and Canada. 

Seneca primarily targets investments in manufacturing, business services, healthcare services, tech services, B to C, and specialty finance. Seneca focuses on businesses where it can play an active, value-added board role in industries where we or our partners have a deep understanding of the dynamics, trends and potential growth strategies.

Seneca continues to seek new platforms and add-on acquisition opportunities and is actively seeking to partner with other independent sponsors on their transactions. Seneca currently has 14 portfolio companies (8 of which were originated by another independent sponsor), and is in the final stages of acquiring two more.
