Akeisha Lari

Akeisha Lari is a seasoned professional in the fields of education and student engagement, currently serving as the Manager of Reconciliation and Student Inclusion at Seneca Polytechnic since October 2023. Akeisha previously held the position of Manager of Student Engagement and Equity at Ontario Tech University, where responsibilities included overseeing leadership development, peer mentoring, and equity and inclusion programs. Akeisha's experience extends to roles such as Student Development Specialist – Equity Programs at Ontario Tech University and Co-Chair of the EDI Community of Practice at the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services. Akeisha's background includes various positions at Toronto Metropolitan University, where contributions were made as Coordinator of Student Life Programs and as an instructor at The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education. Akeisha holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Sociology and Equity Studies in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Education, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Ryerson University.
