Jacky Lau

Jacky Lau, CD, MASc, P.Eng, PMP, currently serves as a PhD Candidate and Researcher at the University of Toronto while also teaching engineering courses at Seneca Polytechnic. With extensive experience in leadership and engineering management, Jacky holds positions such as Engineering Manager at Canada Robotix and President/Lead STEM Instructor at CAROBOT Learning and Research Organization. Jacky's military background includes a long tenure with the Canadian Armed Forces, specializing in communication and information systems. Previous roles at Bombardier included Supervisor of the Functional Test Group and Project Coordinator. An accomplished educator and engineer, Jacky's technical skills encompass programming in C/C++, Python, and experience in various technologies and software applications. Jacky's educational background includes a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and ongoing PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Toronto.
