John Goodwin currently serves as the Director of the Seneca Film Institute and Chair of Creative Arts and Animation at Seneca Polytechnic since January 2024. Prior to this role, John held multiple positions at Durham College from January 2001 to January 2024, including Head of Creative/Technology for the Mixed-Reality Capture Studio and Professor/Coordinator for Game Development. Earlier in their career, John worked in motion graphics at March Networks from 1996 to 2002. John obtained a Master of Education in Online Technologies in Education from Ontario Tech University between 2014 and 2017 and holds a degree from York University, earned from 1989 to 1993.
