Joyce McLean

Joyce McLean is an experienced professor at Seneca College, where instruction focuses on strategic communications and media relations for graduate students in the Corporate Communications and Government Relations program. In addition to academic roles, McLean operates as a self-employed environmentalist, strategist, writer, and communicator, providing writing and editing services while transitioning to contractual work. McLean significantly contributes to the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation, serving as Treasurer and as a board director appointed by the Ontario Minister of the Environment. Previous roles include Director of Strategic Issues at Toronto Hydro, where McLean was instrumental in advancing green energy initiatives, as well as leadership positions in various organizations related to wind energy and environmental policy.
