Mathew Thomas

Mathew Thomas is an accomplished professional in the field of medical device reprocessing and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Rosh Biomedical Inc. since March 2024, Mathew has also been an Instructor for Medical Device Reprocessing at Seneca College since September 2019. Previous roles include Manager of the Medical Device Reprocessing Department at Humber River Hospital from May 2021 to November 2023, and MDRD Supervisor at Mount Sinai Hospital within the Sinai Health System from July 2018 to May 2021. Mathew's career began in sterile processing at Trillium Health Partners, where the role of Medical Device Reprocessing Technician was held from May 2007 to September 2011. Additionally, experience as a Biomedical Engineer was gained at Stryker and Steris from July 2000 to January 2006. Mathew holds a CSPDT Certification from The Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc. and earned a Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Instrumentation Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, alongside education from Centennial College.
