Michael Concannon

Michael Concannon is an accomplished professional in the animation and design industry, currently serving as a Professor at Seneca College since January 2023. With a diverse background, Michael has held various roles including Art Director at Solis Animation Inc. from April 2021 to March 2023, and Designer at Yowza! Animation Corp for the Charlotte production. Previous experience includes teaching an introductory Concept Art course at Max the Mutt College of Animation, Art & Design, and creating character and location designs for Portfolio Entertainment. Additionally, Michael has contributed as a freelance animator for projects such as DreamWorks Animation's "Turbo FAST" and served as a background painter for various productions. Michael holds a Master's degree in 3D Animation from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, and has completed post-graduate studies in Game Art and Animation at Seneca Polytechnic, as well as a diploma in Classical Animation from Sheridan College.
