Michelle Dakin

Michelle Dakin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in security and emergency management. Since October 2016, Michelle has served as the Director of Security & Emergency Management Services at Seneca Polytechnic, overseeing operations across multiple campuses in the Greater Toronto Area and Peterborough. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as an Emergency Advisor at Enbridge Gas Distribution and held significant positions within Baycrest and Rouge Valley Health System, focusing on emergency management, risk mitigation, and the development of training programs. Michelle’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Carleton University and various certifications in areas such as crisis intervention and disaster preparedness from other esteemed institutions.
