Rafael Drelich is an experienced Image Processing Technical Director at SideFX Software since February 2025, with a strong background in Houdini instruction and FX artistry. Rafael serves as a Post-Graduate Houdini Instructor at Seneca Polytechnic across multiple courses, focusing on animation and game art, while also mentoring students at Think Tank Training Centre. In addition to their teaching roles, Rafael has contributed to high-profile projects such as "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities" and "Halo," showcasing expertise in procedural techniques and photorealistic dynamics. Rafael's educational background includes a Master of Digital Media from Toronto Metropolitan University, an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Visual Effects from George Brown College, and a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
