Ryan B. Hayman

Ryan B. Hayman is an experienced professional in life sciences and diagnostics, currently serving as the SCILS Principal Investigator and Part-time Professor at Seneca Polytechnic since April 2024, facilitating collaboration between students and businesses to create marketable prototypes. As a consultant at Hayman Tech since July 2016, Ryan leverages extensive expertise in product vision refinement, R&D roadmapping, and laboratory setup. Prior roles include Director of Assay Research and Development at SQI Diagnostics, where Ryan oversaw the design of diagnostic products, and Vice President of Research and Development at ChipCare Corporation, managing various assay developments and leading teams. Ryan's career began with research at Xagenic Inc. and Tufts University, culminating in a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Tufts and a B.A. in Chemistry from Williams College.
