Sergi Ametller

Sergi Ametller is an accomplished Offshore Wind Director at SENER since June 2017, leading significant offshore wind energy initiatives, including the development of the HIVEWIND floater in partnership with NERVION and managing projects such as the Baltic Eagle and Kincardine floating offshore wind projects for Iberdrola and COBRA, respectively. Prior to this role, Sergi served as Special Projects Manager at SACYR, where responsibilities included overseeing international maritime engineering projects and serving as Electromechanical Project Manager for the Panama Canal Expansion. With a long tenure at SENER, Sergi directed the Maritime Engineering Department and managed a large engineering team for various industrial and civil projects. Sergi holds multiple degrees, including a Civil Engineering degree, an MSc in Port Engineering and Management, and a PDG from IESE Business School, as well as ongoing studies for a DEA diploma in Maritime Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
