Xavier Martinez

Xavier Martinez has extensive experience in the engineering and project management sectors, currently serving in the Power & Energy for Transportation role at SENER since April 2022. Previously, Xavier worked at GPO Ingeniería y Arquitectura, S.L.U. for over a decade, holding various positions including Project Manager and Construction Engineer with a focus on railway projects and infrastructure. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Electrical Engineer role at Coperfil Group S.A. and Project Manager positions at Ingenieros Emetres SLP. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from La Salle BCN, a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, an Engineer’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Ramon Llull, and postgraduate degrees in Land Use Planning and Management from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
