Firmware Engineer at Senet

Kevin Howe has worked as a Firmware Engineer since 1995, starting at Cabletron Systems. There, they developed and debugged firmware for network repeater, switching and routing products, and also traveled to customer sites to debug critical customer issues. In 1999, they moved to Cisco as a Software Engineer, where they developed software and firmware for Open Programmable Telephony Switches, implemented a PHY device driver, and improved the build management system with custom scripting and automation. In 2000, they joined Enterasys Networks as a Firmware Engineer, where they designed and debugged firmware on 3 generations of leading secure networking devices with large code platforms (25k+ source files). Kevin also worked closely with QA to diagnose, debug and resolve issues, and ported a custom policy-based network engine from VxWorks to Linux platform. In 2013, they moved to Extreme Networks as a Firmware Engineer. Finally, in 2015, they joined Senet as a Firmware Engineer, where they designed and implemented software for LoRa WAN IoT gateways, and enhanced software portability across various Linux distributions and environments.

Kevin Howe attended Keene State College from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
