Randy Houde has worked in the software engineering industry since 1996. Randy started their career at Cabletron as a Software Engineer, followed by a Senior Software Engineer role at Aprisma in 1999. In 2005, they moved to CA as a Senior Software Engineer, and then to Enterasys Networks as a Senior Software Engineer in 2006. In 2013, they began working at Extreme Networks as a Director and Senior Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2015, they joined Senet as a Software Architect, where they designed and developed a scalable LoRa network server built on Amazon EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk infrastructure.
Randy Houde attended Marshwood High School in Eliot, ME and graduated in 1994. Randy then attended the University of Maine, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 1999. Randy has also obtained four certifications from LinkedIn in Java Algorithms, Advanced Java Programming, Microservices: Design Patterns, and Transitioning from Java to Go, which were obtained in July and August of 2022.
